Validated car parking is available from £12 per day at Cambridge Street and Charing Cross car parks. Both car parks are within 10 minutes walk of the hotel. On-street parking is available around the hotel for £7.20 per hour.
Glasgow city centre has introduced a Low Emission Zone (LEZ); Dakota Glasgow and the surrounding area lies within this LEZ.
All vehicles entering the city centre zone area must now meet the less-polluting emission standards or face a penalty charge. To pay this charge or confirm if your vehicle is eligible or exempt, please visit https://www.glasgow.gov.uk/LEZ before your visit.
There are some exemptions to Glasgow’s LEZ, including all-electric vehicles and motorcycles and mopeds.
Dakota Glasgow is just 5 minutes by taxi or a 15 minute walk from both Glasgow Central Station and Queen Street Station. We are also just a 15 minute walk from Buchanan Bus Station, which has the direct City Link shuttle bus to Glasgow Airport.
