General Hotel Enquiries
Standard check in is available from 3pm, standard check out is at 11am – early check in from 1pm and late check out until 2pm are available for an additional charge, subject to availability.

We do not enforce a strict dress code. We only ask that guests avoid wearing sports shirts.
Dakota Manchester offers a valet parking service for £40 per car, this service must be booked in advance and is subject to availability.
The hotel also offer electric vehicle parking, available for a charge of £55 per vehicle, per day.

Guests of Dakota Manchester can order daytime room service from 12pm – 10pm, or late night room service from 10pm. You can view our room service menu from the TV or print outs provided in your room. To make a room service order please call 5060 from the phone in your room.

We strongly recommend making a booking for the Cigar Terrace in advance, bookings can be made by calling the Hotel directly at 0161 674 9180. Spaces on the Cigar Terrace are limited to 16 people.

Dakota Manchester is a 20 minute drive to Manchester Airport, traffic dependant. The hotel are happy to arrange your taxi for you in advance, please speak with a member of our Reception team to arrange.
Dakota Manchester is centrally located, we’re a short 10 minute walk to Piccadilly Gardens, a 9 minute walk to Northern Quarter, and a 20 minute walk to Spinningfields and Deansgate.
The Co-op Arena is an 8 minute car ride from the hotel, or a short 10 minute tram ride from Piccadilly tram station direct to the Arena.
Manchester Trafford centre is accessible from the hotel via a 20 minute car ride, or direct bus and tram routes available from Piccadilly Gardens.
Dakota Manchester is a short 5 minute walk to Piccadilly Train Station.
The Etihad Stadium is a 6 minute drive from the hotel, or a short 7 minute tram journey from Piccadilly Tram station.
Accessibility
Select your chosen Classic Room when booking directly on our website, the second page on the booking process with show the option to select for a wheelchair accessible bedroom, if the room type comes in this form, and if we have availability.
If you are unable to find a suitable room type, please contact us directly by calling 0161 674 9180 and a member of the team would be delighted to assist you.
If you book one of our wheelchair accessible bedrooms, its features are: a flashing beacon on the fire alarm sounding, emergency pull cords by your bed and in the bathroom alerting our team in the event of an emergency to assist you, as well as fully accessible wet room including low sinks, shower chair, and rails.
Additionally, the following features have the ability to be moved into any of our bedrooms: vibrating pillows, bed rails, bath handles, and shower chairs. At Reception, we can also provide you with a hearing loop, or larger font printed documents such as registration card or menus.
Please let us know, ideally prior to arrival so we can be best prepared to meet your needs. If you need any accessibility assistance not already listed, please do let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Our front entrance is a level ground, with a wheelchair platform lift to get to our Bar and Grill areas on the ground floor. All bedroom floors are accessible via our elevators.
We offer complimentary valet car parking to Blue Badge holders, who are staying with us as Hotel guests, subject to availability and when prebooked. Please contact us prior to arrival so we can make valet parking arrangements based on your estimated time of arrival and departure to avoid any waits. Once arranged, simply drive up to the front door of the Hotel, and provide your keys to our Concierge.
Prior to arrival or on check in, we will complete a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan, also known as a PEEP form, for any guests who may require particular arrangements or assistance in the event of an emergency evacuation.
We also have trained team members onsite at all times to operate our fire evacuation chairs.
