General Hotel Enquiries
Standard check in is available from 3pm, standard check out is at 11am – early check in from 1pm and late check out until 3pm are available for an additional charge, subject to availability.

We do not enforce a strict dress code. We only ask that guests avoid wearing sports shirts.
Dakota Newcastle offers dedicated Hotel parking at St. Anne’s Car Park, St. Anne’s Street, NE1 2BH, located behind the hotel. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with payment of £15 for 24 hours required at the time of parking via QR codes displayed on-site.
Valet parking is available at the Hotel for a fee of £40 per day – this service must be pre-booked in advance of your stay.
To pre-book you can simply select ‘Valet Parking’ as an upgrade option when booking your hotel room online, alternatively you can contact the hotel directly on 0191 406 8777 or by emailing concierge@ncl.dakotahotels.co.uk.
There is a small onsite Gym available for Hotel guests – for information on how to access the Gym during your stay please visit the Hotel Reception and a member of the team would be delighted to assist you.

Dakota Newcastle is a short 15 minute drive to Newcastle Airport, traffic dependant. The hotel are happy to arrange your taxi for you in advance, please speak with a member of our Reception team to arrange.
Dakota Newcastle is a short 20 minute walk or 10 minute drive to Newcastle Central Station.
Accessibility
Select your chosen Classic Room when booking directly on our website, the second page on the booking process with show the option to select for a wheelchair accessible bedroom if the room type comes in this form and if we have availability. If you are unable to find a suitable room type, please contact our hotels directly for assistance.
If you book one of our wheelchair accessible bedrooms, its features are: a flashing beacon on the fire alarm sounding, emergency pull cords by your bed and in the bathroom alerting our team in the event of an emergency to assist you, as well as fully accessible wet room including low sinks, shower chair, and rails.
Additionally, the following features have the ability to be moved into any of our bedrooms: vibrating pillows, bed rails, bath handles, and shower chairs. At Reception, we can also provide you with a hearing loop, or larger font printed documents such as registration card or menus.
Please let us know, ideally prior to arrival so we can be best prepared to meet your needs. If you need any accessibility assistance not already listed, please do let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Blue Badge holders will receive a £5 reduction on the cost of valet parking, who are staying with us as Hotel guests, subject to availability and when prebooked. To ensure a smooth arrival, we kindly ask that you contact us prior to your visit with your estimated arrival and departure times. This allows us to prepare for your arrival and apply the adjustment accordingly. Once arranged, simply pull up to the hotel entrance and present your keys to our Concierge.
Prior to arrival or on check in, we will complete a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan, also known as a PEEP form, for any guests who may require particular arrangements or assistance in the event of an emergency evacuation. We also have training team members onsite at all times to operate our fire evacuation chairs.
